Chicken Roll-Ups

I made them.  And then I ate them.

Yep, they are one of those “pop three in your mouth before you even realize how many you’ve eaten,” kind of foods.

And they are simple Simon.  Open a can of crescent rolls.  Scoop some filling.  Roll up the crescent.  Bake.  Eat.  Happy meter rises.

Mix 2 cups of cooked, chopped chicken breasts with 1-8 oz. package of cream cheese, 2 cups shredded cheese (I used a mix of cheddar and monterey jack cheese), salt and pepper.

Put a spoonful of the filling on the end of the the crescent and roll up, sealing the edges.

Brush with melted butter and sprinkle bread crumbs on top.

Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 14-15 minutes.
